Plug and Play WAN Environments...

The Situation:

ClearPath Networks is an innovative provider of managed plug and play wide area network (WAN) environments for small and mid-sized companies.  They offer a broad suite of managed services including virtual private networks, firewall, intrusion detection, anti-spam, content filtering services.


The VPN and managed service space was crowded with a number of providers, all with similar messaging.  ClearPath needed to make sure that itís long-term positioning was differentiated and articulated to the market.


ClearPath was looking for strategy and project management over the development and execution of their marketing and public relations programs.

The Plan:

Marketricity stepped in and acted as an extension of ClearPath's marketing team providing:

  • Development of a marketing strategy, including positioning and messaging

  • Development of consistent look and feel for their marketing collaterals

  • Development of new content for their web site and collateral

  • Project management over key events and marketing programs

  • Market research including interaction with industry analysts on a variety of issues including market trends and ClearPath's differentiation

  • Development of external presentations to analysts, prospective clients and partners, and investors

The initial focus was to get some planned projects back on track.  Speed and professional image were very important.


Marketricity joined in the middle of some existing projects and never missed a beat, even amid aggressive deadlines.  We also delivered a framework for future projects, making them easier to plan and manage.  Upon completing the positioning and messaging, we worked with all the internal groups ensure that they were using the same language with internal and external audiences.
